From the Principal
School TV
At a recent principal’s conference I, on behalf of the school, was presented with an achievement award. The school community received a silver award for being the second most user of School TV amongst Lutheran Schools in our region (Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania).
This is a great testament to our community members who are accessing School TV on a regular basis. We hope that it continues to be a valuable resource for our community.
For those who are unaware SchoolTV is a wellbeing resource implemented at our school to help support you in the challenges of modern-day parenting relating to child and youth mental health and wellbeing. You can find individual topics attached to the school’s newsletter each week and can explore the site by accessing the web page through the school website.
Buddies
It was wonderful to see the school’s Buddy Program in operation again after a hiatus during the past few years. Younger and older students were excited to engage with each other in learning tasks. Our first writing topic was centred around our recent celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.
