Over the last three weeks Sunshine Christian School has had the pleasure of welcoming Metro West Volleyball Academy Head Coach, Cori Wilder, to teach the Years 1-6 students how to play volleyball. Students have learned how to dig, set and spike a volleyball. Most importantly, the students have learned about the need to move their feet to get to the ball before it drops to the ground. Due to rain, Coach Cori also taught the Year 1 and 2 students how to play sitting volleyball. The sessions have been fun, engaging and educational for all. Many thanks to Coach Cori for sharing her passion for playing volleyball with us.
