Interschool Athletics 2019

On Friday 23 August, 20 students attended an Interschool Athletics Carnival with Mrs Pham & Mr Milesi to represent Sunshine Christian School in a range of events. All students displayed a very positive attitude and enjoyed a fun day.

Sunshine Christian School fared well with 12 students receiving ribbons for their efforts:

Kungthang – 1^st in discus & 3^rd in shotput;

Ruth T. – 1^st in discus & 3^rd in high jump;

Cicely – 2^nd in 800m;

Eunice – 2^nd in 80m;

Darcy – 2^nd in high jump;

Erica – 2^nd in long jump;

Par Tha – 2^nd in discus;

Jenni – 3^rd in 800m & shot put;

Brillian – 3^rd in 200m;

Annie – 3^rd in 80m;

Thomas H. – 3^rd in discus;

Miriam – 3^rd in 200m

It was a fantastic effort from all the students who attended, particularly those competing in age groups above their own. Well done in accepting the invitation to represent SCS and doing so with pride.
