On Tuesday 20th August Sunshine Christian school had a visit from the Australian Lutheran World Service to talk about proverty around the world.

During the day the children got to experience what it would be like to live in a 3rd world country, with only a limited food supply.

I felt really bad for the people, especially the children who suffer with important needs. Jolie Year 6

I really enjoyed ALWS because we tried new things and ate new food. Jenni Year 5

I felt really guilty after I saw all the poor people. Life must be very hard for them. I can’t believe that most families in Australia waste enough food to fill up the MCG stadium 6 times! Par Tha Year 5
